What to expect / FAQ
Where can I conduct a video visit?
It is important that you are in a quiet, private space with adequate lighting during the video visit. During a video visit, you should refrain from shopping, driving or doing other activities that may be considered disruptive or inappropriate. Otherwise, you may be asked to reschedule.
You must physically be located in the state of Wisconsin at the time of your visit.
What can I connect to the video visit?
You can join the visit up to 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Once you have joined the visit:
1. If your provider hasn’t joined the visit yet, you will see a message that says, “Please wait for the host to start this meeting.” Stay put, you’re in the right place!
2. Once the care team is ready for you, you’ll see a message that says, “You have successfully connected to your visit.” Your provider will be with you shortly.
If you are disconnected from your video visit, you can rejoin the same way you joined the first time.
If you’re having difficulty connecting to your video visit and want to reschedule, you can do so in MyChart or contact your provider’s office directly.
